Senior & Mid-level CakePHP Developer (Apache, MySQL, UNIX)

Are you a CakePHP guru? Or working towards your guru status?

We are looking for senior (and mid-level hopefuls) CakePHP developers to enhance our nearly completed internet development. Senior level developers would be working directly with platform architect in coding, testing, implementing and managing mid-level CakePHP and HTML coders.

Our development and current needs consist of:
Multi-level buy/sell/discussion marketplace
Facebook style IM application
Mobile platform conversion
MySQL administration, optimization
System maintenance

Senior Level:
If you meet the below qualifications please respond by emailing your resume, hourly $ rate, hrs available per week, and a sample of your CakePHP or any other MVC framework. We will not process replies without samples.

Mid-level:
You must meet some of the qualifications below including: CakePHP, PHP 5, MySQL /SQL, Unix, SVN. Respond by emailing your resume, salary, availability per week (part time or full time), and a sample of your CakePHP or any other MVC framework.

Senior developers must have extensive experience in:
CakePHP
PHP 5
MySQL / SQL
Apache (2)
UNIX shell scripting (csh)
SVN
SSH
SFTP
GNU Make
Cron jobs
Ajax coding (jQuery)
HTML/CSS

Working knowledge of:
Mail protocol
XMPP
GD/ImageMagick image handling

Development setup required:
Own LAMP server with up-to-date software
Must be able to run makefiles and csh shell scripts on own server
SVN client

Code libraries used:
CakePHP 1.1.18 (with ThemeView)
jQuery 1.2.6

Optional knowledge of:
PHP List
Openfire IM Server

Professional Expectations:
Must be able to manage time and multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, self-motivated and proactive
Excellent ENGLISH verbal and written communication skills
Must show strong time/project management skills
7+ years of coding experience (Sr. Level)
Computer Science degree or equivalent
